Everyone deserves to enjoy the magic of live performances. CenterTix and the Alaska Performing Arts Center offer universal access solutions to welcome all patrons.
Wheelchair & ADA Seating
ADA-accessible seating with companion options is available in all major halls, including Atwood Hall, Discovery Theatre, and Sydney Laurence Theatre. Removable armrests, step-free access, and elevator access are standard.
Assisted Listening Devices
Infrared assisted listening headsets are available free of charge at the house manager's desk for all theatrical performances. Loop receivers are also compatible with standard personal telecoil hearing aids.
Sensory & Audio Descriptions
Select performances feature audio-described narratives and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters. Sensory friendly kits containing noise-canceling headphones, fidgets, and weighted wraps are available upon request.
